The Sipsa-Filaha, Algeria’s International Exhibition of Agriculture, Livestock and Farming Equipment reaches 19th this year. Organizers expect to receive 23,000 visitors from October 7 to 10 at the Safex Exhibition Center in Algiers, the capital. Organizers are expected to attend 550 exhibitors from 39 countries.
“Intelligent Agriculture to meet the challenge of food security” is the theme of the edition and follows the guidelines of the Algerian national agricultural program. The theme is the axis of Algeria’s national agricultural policy. To this end, the fair aims to identify strategies to sustainably increase productivity and strengthen local harvests.

The show will feature products and services for farms and food processors. Livestock equipment, genetics, animal breeding, goat, rabbit and sheep breeding, irrigation, dairy, storage, crop, horticulture, and field vehicles, spare parts, fertilizers, greenhouses, seeds, and seedlings, among others.
In the four days of the fair, in addition to the display of products and services, there will be business meetings to promote exchanges between investors and project developers, forums and lectures on local agricultural and livestock issues. In addition, forums are planned for agroecology, the environment, and sustainable development, for the milk sector, for fisheries and for fruit and vegetables.
