The Cape Town Art Fair – the main art fair in Africa – reaches its eighth edition, bringing together the main galleries in South Africa, the African continent and abroad.
African highlights include Yosr Ben Ammar Gallery and AGORGI, both from Tunisia, Jahmek Contemporary Art, from Angola, and Galerie Veronique Rieffel, from Ivory Coast.
There is also an important number of new participating galleries from several European countries, the United Arab Emirates and the United States.
“Each year, the fair gains considerable momentum that generates respect and prestige for the city of Cape Town as an important contemporary art destination”, celebrates Laura Vincenti, the event’s director.
The event will take place on the 14th, 15th and 16th of February, at the Cape Town International Convention Center.
