The Federal University of Viçosa (UFV) has signed an agreement with the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA). The university already has a history of cooperation with the African continent, receiving students from more than twenty countries. With the agreement, the university intends to expand its activities in the region.
The potential of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) was the theme of Africa's Industrialization Day, celebrated on Wednesday (20). In a message, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres says the agreement "will drive regional economic transformation and sustainable development."

It was inaugurated on Monday (18) the first bank of human milk of Angola. The initiative is part of a partnership between Brazil and countries of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) to export their public policy model.
