Sao Paulo will have one more regular weekly flight to Casablanca

The Moroccan airline Royal Air Maroc will offer a new flight frequency between Sao Paulo and Casablanca. With the new flight, scheduled to begin in December 2019 or January 2020, São Paulo will have four weekly departures to Morocco, in addition to the two departing from Rio de Janeiro, totaling six weekly flights from Brazil to the African country.

The company’s agreement with One World, one of the largest airline alliances – including Latam, Qatar Airways and American Airlines – is due to be in place by the end of the first half of 2020. “We have already signed, but we need to integrate of the system, miles, data, it all takes time, but probably by June it will all be connected, ”said Cesar Alruiz, sales manager at Royal Air Maroc.

“In 2018, we surpassed 53,000 Brazilian arrivals in Morocco, a 19% increase over 2017. We almost increased the number of Brazilian tourists in the seven years,” celebrates Abdellatif Achachi, general director of the Official Tourism Delegation of Morocco for Brazil and Portugal. However, he does not have good prospects for the year 2019. “The dollar and the euro have increased a lot. We’ll be happy if we grow 1% this year. ”
