+ It was built in the 2nd century AD and destroyed by vandals in the V century. The Carthage Amphitheater is a special place for Tunisia, and a great number of tourists visit it. The ruins from its ancient construction were found in excavations during the XIX century. The monument was restored, and nowadays it is a stage for different artistic performances.
