The former Director-General of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Jose Graziano da Silva, is confirmed as a speaker at the Brazil Africa Forum 2019, to be held in São Paulo, Brazil, on November 12 and 13. Graziano held the position at FAO until July this year.
IBRAF‘s work finds full synergy with FAO in eradicating hunger, developing rural areas and strengthening the capacity of small producers. These key actions will be addressed during BAF 2019.

Graziano, a former minister of Food Security and Hunger Alleviation in Brazil, will be at the session on water use and prosperity and will present the work he has done over eight years as FAO Director-General.

With the theme “Food security: path to economic growth”, the Forum comes in its 7th edition as one of the main events for the strengthening of relations between Brazil and the African continent.
