Two african countries to visit in 2019

Zimbabwe and Sao Tome and Principe are among the top tourist destinations for 2019, according to Lonely Planet, one of the most respected travel guides in the world. The countries occupied positions 3 and 9, respectively, in the top 10.

According to the guide, Zimbabwe is one of the safest destinations in Africa and has an extremely friendly population. In the country, there are great natural areas to be visited, World Heritage-listed archaeological ruins and national parks.

Sao Tome and Principe is on the list as a destination for “bold explorers”, those who like to go where few were before. According to the guide, the islands that make up the country give tourists breathtaking landscapes and beautiful almost empty beaches, in addition to the possibilities of finding new treasures.

Dakar and Meknes: top cities

Lonely Planet also listed the top 10 cities to visit in 2019, and Dakar, the capital of Senegal, and Meknes, in Morocco, are ranked 7 and 10 respectively.

According to the guide, Dakar is one of the most dynamic cities in Africa, with beautiful beaches, colorful markets and lively nightclubs. Meknes, once the capital of Morocco, has an imperial city full of history and secrets kept for its tourists.
